Support for LGBTQ civil rights topics in K-12 schools in the U.S. by party 2022
As of April 2022, just over a quarter of polled Americans are strongly opposed to the LGBTQ civil rights movement being taught or discussed at any level of compulsory education (K-12), while 24 percent strongly support it. Across political party lines, about half of Republicans were strongly opposed, compared with 12 percent of Democrats.
