Countries most exposed to water risks in Africa 2019
Libya ranked as the country most exposed to water risks in Africa as of 2019. The index considered exposure to baseline water stress, riverine flood risk, and drought risk. The Northern African country of Libya scored 4.55 points, indicating an extremely high water risk. Eritrea and Botswana followed, with 4.33 and 4.02 points, respectively, also representing an extremely high risk.
