Canada's chemical industry import value 2021, by country

In 2021, the value of chemicals imported to Canada from the United States amounted to over 42 billion Canadian dollars, making it the country's largest trade partner for chemical products. Germany ranked second, but by a wide margin, with imports totaling 4.2 billion Canadian dollars. This was followed by China, with a chemical import value that amounted to some 3.4 billion Canadian dollars. That same year, the most important trade country for the Canadian chemical industry's exports was also the United States.
