From 2019 to the first quarter of 2022, there were 85 de-SPAC deals with a European target. The United States was the leading acquirer nation, with 37 de-SPAC transactions. Following the U.S., the United Kingdom and Italy were the next largest acquirer nations with 17 and six de-SPAC deals, correspondingly.
