Number of homes at risk of wildfire in the United States 2052, by risk level
By 2052, the number of houses in the United States at risk of exposure to wildfires is expected to reach nearly 80 million. The largest share of these homes, some 49.4 million, will face a minor wildfire risk. However, 1.5 million homes are expected to face an extreme wildfire risk.
