Trust towards use of AI in healthcare in the EU in 2021

In 2021, 25 percent of respondents surveyed in the European Union (EU) reported they would fully trust AI enabled decisions for applications in the area of patient monitoring, while a further 69 percent of respondents indicated that they would trust AI-results in combination with expert judgments. Overall, the majority of respondents indicated that they would trust AI-results combined with judgements from health experts.
