Australia: opinion on more action on climate change by state 2022

According to a January 2022 survey in Australia, the majority of respondents would support more action on preventing climate change because the benefits outweigh the costs, at respectively 52 and 51 percent in South Australia and Western Australia. A further one-fifth of respondents in New South Wales would support more action despite the short-term costs.
