Italy: eSports audience activities on social media 2021
According to a survey conducted in Italy in February 2021, approximately 36 percent of Italian eSports followers who engaged with Twitch felt they were part of the community. By comparison, only 20 percent and 22 percent of eSports fans on TikTok and Twitter respecitvely reported feeling the same. Instagram eSports fans were the most active in creating content, while less than two in 10 eSports fans on Twitch were likely to create content for the platform.
