Italy: security actions to deal with ransomware attacks for companies 2022
According to a survey of management and IT professionals working in Italian companies, as of February 2022, the most common actions following a ransomware attack were restoring encrypted files from backup and isolating or shutting down all affected machines and accounts, with over 70 percent of respondents reporting to adopt these two protocols, respectively. Additionally, almost seven in 10 respondents reported that in case of ransomware attacks their company would activate a crisis management plan.
