UK: importance of eco-friendly delivery options 2021

A 2021 survey on e-shoppers' behavior in the United Kingdom (UK) showed that online consumers between 18 to 34 were most in favor of eco-friendly delivery options. While five percent of regular shoppers in the age range 35 to 54 believed that the lack of environmentally friendly delivery options somehow prevented them from buying items online, only two percent of respondents aged 55 years or over had the same opinion.

The interviews were blind interviews, the respondents did not have references to brands, e-tailers or transporters.
The survey involved 23,394 participants across the following European countries: Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom.
*Between 800 and 1,556 participants were interviewed per country. All respondents had purchased physical products from online since January 2021, and received at least one package.
The original question was phrased by the source as follows: "On the contrary, do the following features prevent you from buying online?" with the answers "Yes, it prevents me from buying online", and "No, it has no impact".
