Air-to-water heat pump sales in Europe 1994-2030

In 2020, approximately 655,000 air-to-water pumps were sold in Europe. However, the sales volume of this segment of the heat pump industry was still expected to increase significantly during the next decade, reaching nearly 5.8 million units by 2030. This type of air-source heat pump absorbs heat from the outside air and turns it into hot water, which can be used to heat the building, but it can also be stored and used as a source of hot water. Also in Europe, the volume of sales of air-to-air heat pumps, which is another type of air-source heat pump, was also forecast to grow fast over the coming years.
