Accessibility of mental health services in Canada 2022 by age and gender
According to a survey carried out in Canada in 2022, women found access to mental health services more challenging and difficult compared to men. Almost 60 percent of female respondents aged 45 years and above reported accessing mental health services as challenging or very difficult. On the other hand, over half of men aged under 45 said it was quite easy or easy enough to access the mental health services they needed.
