Composites production in Europe totaled 2.96 million metric tons in 2022 - an increase when compared with the previous year. Short fiber reinforced plastics accounted for the largest share of this total. Fiber reinforced plastics/composites are used in a variety of applications across numerous industry sectors, such as transportation and electronics.
