Recovery rate of construction and demolition waste in the EU-27 2020, by country
The recovery rate of construction and demolition waste (CDW) in the European Union (EU-27) stood at 88 percent in 2020. That year, Malta and Greece achieved a recovery rate of 100 percent, followed closely by the Netherlands, at some 99.7 percent. Meanwhile, Finland only recovered around 61 percent of its construction and demolition waste, resulting in the lowest recovery rate for CDW across the European Union.
