Finance app downloads in Mexico 2019-2022, by type

The number of finance app downloads in Mexico slowed down - or in some cases even decreased - towards the end of 2022. The downloads of finance apps specializing in personal loans, for instance, decreased from 20.7 million in the third quarter to 17.4 million in the fourth quarter of 2022. On the other hand, the number of mobile banking app downloads increased in the last quarter of 2022, making mobile banking apps yet again the most widely downloaded finance apps in Mexico.
