In 2021, when purchasing products online, six of ten retailers reported that carriers communicated with customers during shipping. According to the survey, the remaining 79 percent of the top retailers in the United Kingdom (UK) did not communicate with the customers at all or customers got the shipping notifications from shipping companies.
