Racial diversity in the workforce of Citigroup in the U.S. 2019-2022
In 2022, approximately 47 percent of the U.S.-based employees at Citigroup were white, making it the most represented group at the American banking giant. The share of Hispanic or Latino employees was approximately 19 percent, while the share of employees of Asian origins were 20 percent. Around 12 percent of the employees were Black or African American. Between 2019 and 2022, the share of white employees in the total workforce decreased gradually, while the share of non-white employees showed a slowly increasing tendency.
