According to a poll conducted in May 2022, roughly a third of surveyed sports fans in the United States claimed to have purchased cryptocurrency and/or non-fungible tokens (NFTs). While the share of crypto and NFT buyers was higher among avid sports fans, just two out of ten casual fans claimed to have acquired these digital assets.
