Canada: opinion on same-sex couples' parenting 2021

When asked about this issue ahead of the 2021 Pride Month, more than four people out of five in Canada believed that same-sex couples are just as likely as other parents to successfully raise children. On the other hand, 11 percent of the surveyed population thought that non-heterosexual couples would not be as successful at parenting as other parents.
There were also eight percent of Canadians who believed that same-sex couples should not have the right to marriage or any form of legal recognition.
