Canada monthly food inflation rate 2022-2023
In Canada, the cost of food has increased every month from June 2022 to May 2023. In April and May 2023, the cost of food increased by 8.3 each month, compared to that month in the previous year. Inflation peaked in January 2023, however, when the inflation rate reached 10.4 percent compared to January 2022.
