Global companies with a shortfall of skilled IT security staff 2023, by industry
Over 90 percent of companies operating in the finance sector were experiencing a shortfall of IT security personnel in 2023. The share of tech and telco companies worldwide was slightly lower, at 87.4 percent, while government organizations ranked last, with around 81 percent of respondents reporting experiencing a shortfall of IT security personnel.
