Consumers searching online before fashion shopping in store in Norway 2021, by age
According to a survey carried out in the fourth quarter of 2021, the so-called webrooming, researching products online before purchasing them offline, is most popular amongst Norweigan millennials shopping for clothing and shoes. 41 percent of millennials always research online before shopping in physical stores. Similarly, 39 percent of Norwegians part of Gen Z always use the internet before purchasing apparel and footwear offline.
