Natural gas stocks in Spain 2010-2022, by storage type
As of December 31, 2022, Spain's natural gas stocks in regasification terminals reached 18.3 terawatt-hours, up from approximately 15.6 terawatt-hours in the previous year. Meanwhile, stocks in underground storgae amounted to over 33 terawatt-hours at the end of 2022, a growth of roughly 45 percent when compared to one year earlier. During the period in consideration, natural gas stocks in Spain peaked in 2022, at a total of 51.3 terawatt-hours.
