Energy-related CO₂ emissions Kazakhstan 2020

In 2020, Kazakhstan released 204.4 metric tons of carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions from fossil fuel combustion. Similar to many other countries which experienced emissions reductions in 2020 as a result of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, Kazakhstan's CO₂ emissions in 2020 decreased by nearly seven metric tons of CO₂ compared to the pre-pandemic levels.
