University degree requirement for jobs in cybersecurity worldwide 2022, by region

Most cybersecurity jobs are now requiring a university degree. In 2022, 71 percent of respondents in Africa stated that a university degree was required to obtain a job in the cybersecurity sector. By contrast, the same year, only around one third of respondents in Oceania mentioned that a degree was needed.
