Netherlands: opinion on friends who change sex 2020

According to a survey carried out in the Netherlands in 2019, approximately 80 percent of respondents either disagreed or completely disagreed with the notion that they would end a friendship if their friend wanted to undergo sex reassignment surgery. Notably, results were almost identical regardless of whether the sex change would be female-to-male or male-to-female.

(Translation: "I would break the friendship when it turns out that a good friend wants to have his/her body adjusted to become a woman/man.")
