In 2021, Brazil had the highest number of people receiving antiretroviral therapy in Latin America and the Caribbean, with more than 695 thousand people. Mexico and Colombia ranked second and third, with over 219 thousand people and 127 thousand persons receiving antiretroviral treatment, respectively.
