Breakdown of daily average spending of foreign tourists Vietnam 2019
In 2019, a foreign tourist spent an average of around 35.5 U.S. dollars per day on accommodation when traveling in Vietnam. Accommodation accounted for the largest share of travel expenditure among international visitors. By comparison, for Vietnamese tourists traveling in their own country, food had the highest share of tourism expenditure that year.
