Digital book unit sales in Brazil 2020-2021, by format
In 2021, around 9.38 million digital book copies were sold in Brazil. Out of that total, approximately 9.18 million (or about 98 percent) were e-book unit sales, while the rest consisted of audiobooks. About 13 percent of Brazilian internet users downloaded e-books as of early 2022.
