Tax revenue from casinos and slot machines in Peru 2000-2021
Tax revenue collected from casinos and slot machines in Peru increased significantly in 2021 compared to the previous year. Overall, tax revenue from gambling activities amounted to 125 million Peruvian soles in 2021 (roughly 30 million U.S. dollars based on the exchange rate of December 31, 2021). By contrast, the country generated around 69 million Peruvian soles from taxes on casinos and slot machines in 2020.
