The most common age of people charged with a crime in Norway in 2022 was 30 to 39 years. Of the 123,000 people charged of a crime, over 30,000 belonged to this age group. The second most common age group of people charged was 40-49 years old, with about 20,000 people. People between five and 14 years had the lowest number of charges, but still reached almost 5,700.
