From 2016 till 2022, the health status of the Portuguese population improved with over half of the people classifying their state of health as very good or good in 2020. In the year 2021, approximately one percent less of the respondents assessed their health status as very good or good as in the year before, and the same occurred in 2022, with less than half of the population classifying their health status as very good or good.
