Leading insurtech startups in India 2021-2022, by funding
Digit Insurance, a Bangalore-based insurtech startup received 286 million U.S. dollars in funding during the period April 2021 to February 2022. In contrast, Acko Insurance became the latest unicorn with a funding of 255 million U.S. dollars. Indian technology driven insurance start-ups or insurtechs are attracting unprecedented funding from PE and VC investors, as well as global insurers.
