Japan: most popular background music

According to a survey conducted in Japan in June 2022, almost 63 percent of people who listen to audio content as background music while performing other activities listen to Japanese music with vocals. Western music with vocals was the second most popular choice. With a significant lead before radio, the online video streaming platform YouTube had a significant share of more than 32 percent.
