Monthly NYSE U.S. 100 Index values 2013-2022
The NYSE US 100 Index tracks the prices of the largest U.S. stocks traded on the New York Stock Exchange and contains the largest U.S. companies ranked by market capitalization.
The index increased overall between 2013 and the beginning of 2020, before dropping sharply in March 2020 due to the disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Since then, the NYSE US 100 Index recovered and reached its peak in December 2021, at 14,456.57 index points. In 2022, the index started to decline again and decreased to 13,781.02 as of November 2022.
