Health care professionals in Mexico 2021, by segment
As of the last quarter of 2021, nearly half of all health care professionals in Mexico, including physicians, nurses, and other professionals specializing in health, worked in doctor's offices. By that time, approximately 32 percent of these health care professionals were employed in psychiatric and addiction treatment hospitals, whereas less than six percent worked for general hospitals.
