In Sweden, more than 40 percent of the respondents in a survey from 2022 either strongly agreed or somewhat agreed with the statement that things have gone too far when it comes to equality between men and women in the country. Half of the men questioned agreed with the statement, compared to less than one third of women. On the other hand, more than half of the Swedish population disagreed with the statement.
