Video streaming apps U.S. customer satisfaction 2023

According to the American Customer Satisfaction Index, U.S. streaming consumers were most satisfied with video streaming app Amazon Prime Video in 2023, with a satisfaction index level that increased from the previous year. Peacock and Apple TV+ were the services that exhibited the greatest increases in customer satisfaction, showing a 10 percent increase from 2022 to 2023. Meanwhile, Disney+ customer satisfaction decreased by three percent between the two years.

The American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) scores on a 0-100 scale at the national level with 100 being the highest and best possible score. The ACSI is an economic indicator based on modeling of customer evaluations of the quality of goods and services purchased in the United States and produced by both domestic and foreign firms with substantial U.S. market shares. Subjects of investigation are 10 economic sectors, 47 industries (including e-commerce and e-business), more than 225 companies, and over 200 federal or local government services.

Customers are asked to evaluate their recent experiences with the largest companies in terms of market share, plus an aggregate category consisting of “all other”—and thus smaller—companies in those industries
