Revenue for pay TV and subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) services is projected to reach about 53 and 64 billion U.S. dollars, respectively, in the United States by 2027. This was the highest projected revenue by far among selected countries globally. Although projected to have two to three times the number of subscribers as in the United States, China's pay TV and SVOD market are expected to see revenues of around 10.3 and 9.4 billion U.S. dollars respectively.
