Brazil: main social media users interest in politics 2022

According to a 2022 survey, around 57 percent of Reddit's users in Brazil had an interest in politics, society and current world events. Besides being used by the majority of the country's population, only 39 percent of Facebook users displayed the same interest in these topics. Additionally, users of the Meta-owned platforms, TikTok and YouTube reflected the general political leaning of most social media users in the country. Meanwhile, users of Tumblr and Twitter were that most leaned towards a left-wing position in comparison to other networks, while 35 percent of LinkedIn users had a right-wing leaning.
