In the United States, online grocery prices hit a five-year peak in September 2022, when they registered a 14.3 percent year-over-year increase. In the country, the prices of grocery products available online has increased continuously, only lowering to nearly 13.7 percent as of November 2022, marking an unprecedented period of inflation.
