Personnel costs index in the construction industry in the EU 2007-2023
The gross cost of wages and salaries in the European Union's construction industry has risen in 2022 and 2023. Since 2010, the index has been increasing until 2020, when it experienced a sharp fall in the first half of the year due to the start of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Since then, the personnel costs index has recovered, reaching its peak at 145 index points as of the first quarter of 2023.
