In 2021, over a third of women surveyed in England said they felt uncomfortable talking about mental health conditions with a healthcare professional. Furthermore, gynecological conditions (such as endometriosis) and cancers were uncomfortable health topics for around a fifth of women to discuss with a healthcare professional.
