Number of shared micromobility trips in North America 2020-2022, by country
In 2022, approximately 157 million trips were made on shared micromobility systems across North America. The U.S. reported the largest number of trips of the three countries comprising the region with almost 127.7 million, followed by Canada with 19.2 million. The North American trio registered important increases in their micromobility ridership in 2021 and 2022, after the hard hit of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.
