According to a survey on the impact of COVID-19 on tourism conducted by Rakuten Insight in July 2022, 69 percent of respondents in the Philippines stated that they planned to purchase travel insurance for their post-COVID trips. The same survey revealed that Southeast Asia and Europe were the most popular region to travel to among Filipino travelers.
