According to a survey among South Korean grocery shoppers in 2023, over two thirds of respondents answered that they had purchased Korean style meal kits before. Meal kits, also called recipe boxes, provide the consumer with not only a recipe to cook a certain dish but also premeasured ingredients, which can be used according to the desired number of portions.
