Outlined nuclear share in rated and effective power capacity South Korea 2020-2034*
The share of nuclear energy in South Korea's rated power generation capacity for 2034 was forecast to be 10.1 percent while its share in effective capacity was estimated to be 15.5 percent that year. The South Korean government has focused on weaning away from nuclear energy dependency in recent years as it seeks to reach carbon neutrality by 2050.
