Share of people with mental health disorders in Brazil 2010-2019
In 2019, the share of people with mental health disorders in Brazil reached approximately 16.72 percent of the population, slightly down from 16.71 percent reported a year earlier. During the analyzed period, the prevalence of mental health disorders decreased by nearly one percentage point in the South American country, from 17.66 percent in 2010 to 16.72 percent in 2019.
