Meal kits purchase frequency South Korea 2022, by household income
According to a survey among South Korean grocery shoppers in 2022, almost 58 percent of respondents who have a household income of less than two million South Korean won stated that they do not buy meal kits at all. This share was significantly higher than those of the other income groups. Meal kits, also called recipe boxes, provide the consumer with not only a recipe to cook a certain dish but also premeasured ingredients, which can be used according to the desired number of portions.
