User investments on proprietary securities apps in China 2022, by value

In 2022, around 36 percent of online investors of Chinese securities firms had between 100 thousand to 500 thousand yuan on these platforms. In the year prior, the number of total securities mobile application users in China reached 150 million. Among those, more than 10 million persons used the mobile trading application of Huatai Securities. Other popular online trading apps included Guotai Junan Securities, Ping An Securities, and eHaitong.
